Notes

Ingested in Sprint 7 as the first facility-level water layer. It was chosen over every corporate disclosure assessed because it is a statutory return rather than a voluntary report, it is a United States government work and therefore public domain, and it carries withdrawal and consumption as separate reported quantities — which for cooling water differ by a factor of a hundred between a once-through and a recirculating plant. It also names the water body each plant draws from and discharges to, which is publisher evidence of the same kind the gauge linkage rests on. Hydrionis stores annual facility totals, summed from the operator’s own monthly returns across the plant’s cooling systems, and only for years in which all twelve months were reported. Company-wide totals are never assembled from these: a utility with fifteen plants appears fifteen times and is not summed.
