Ingested in Sprint 6 under the accumulate update mode: 450 stations reporting water level against Ordnance Datum, stored as daily means. Every sensor’s parameter is confirmed against the publisher’s own station page before its values are read, because the interface identifies a series only by a code and the codes are not self-explanatory — sensor 0003 returns values around 12.9 that read perfectly as a water temperature and are the station’s battery voltage. The depth limit is unchanged. The CSV a station serves covers roughly the last five weeks; anything older is directed to the separate OPW Hydro-Data site, a Kisters application whose machine interface was not located and which was not scraped. So waterlevel.ie is a rolling-window publisher of the same kind as PEGELONLINE, and the accumulate update mode built in Sprint 5 is exactly what it needs: Hydrionis would begin with about five weeks per station and deepen prospectively. The deeper archive is worth pursuing directly with the OPW, who publish a contact address for it. Sprint 7 located that archive’s machine interface and refused it: see ie-opw-hydrodata. It would have named the river for every Irish gauge, and it is behind a click-through agreement that grants no reuse licence, so Ireland’s gauges remain unlinked.
